Zach joined Walsh Colucci in 2024, bringing extensive expertise in managing the processing of zoning entitlements, such as rezonings, special exceptions, special permits, and other land use approvals. Prior to joining the team, Zach served as a Senior Planner at Fairfax County’s Department of Planning and Development, Zoning Evaluation Division. There, he led the review of complex entitlement applications in collaboration with local and state organizations. During his tenure, Zach successfully processed a diverse portfolio of applications, including:
- Mixed-use developments
- A 1M square foot hospital campus
- Multifamily buildings
- Single-family detached and attached subdivisions
- Office conversions
- Public facilities
- Commercial uses
- Restaurants with drive-through
- Places of worship with a child care center
