Sarah E. Mernin
Sarah Mernin’s practice focuses primarily on civil litigation. She assists clients on a variety of matters including: landlord/tenant conflicts, easement disputes, trusts and estates litigation, and issues involving complex real estate transactions. She also represents clients in zoning, subdivision, eminent domain and other land use disputes. Sarah further assists clients in obtaining administrative approvals and appealing administrative decisions.
Prior to joining the firm, Sarah clerked for the Honorable Rossie D. Alston, Jr. of the Court of Appeals of Virginia, and for the Honorable Tracy C. Hudson of the Prince William County Circuit Court.
Sarah earned her J.D., from the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University, where she served as the Managing Editor for the Journal of Law, Economics, & Policy, served as a program director for the VBA Pro Bono Society, and competed on the school’s trial advocacy team.
