Shareholder Randy Minchew Appointed to Commonwealth Transportation Board

We are proud to share that Governor Glenn Youngkin has appointed J. Randall Minchew, Managing Shareholder of our Loudoun office, to serve as the Urban At-Large member of the Commonwealth Transportation Board (CTB).

The CTB oversees the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), the Commonwealth’s participation in the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), and other modes of surface transportation across Virginia. Randy’s four-year term begins July 1, 2025.

A Leesburg resident and longtime leader in both the legal and public policy arenas, Randy brings decades of experience to this role. He has served on the Northern Virginia Transportation Authority since 2013 and previously represented Loudoun, Clarke, and Frederick Counties in the Virginia House of Delegates, where he helped shape the region’s transportation funding framework.

This appointment reflects Randy’s continued commitment to responsible infrastructure planning and public service and will not impact his ongoing work with the firm.

Please join us in congratulating Randy on this well-deserved appointment.
